Luxury vacation club Exclusive Resorts is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and has been adding new vacation destinations and once-in-a-lifetime experiences to its portfolio. With continuing growth and demand, the club is planning to increase prices at the end of the year.
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts Partnership
The most recent additions to the portfolio come through a partnership with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. Exclusive Resorts members can use their membership nights for stays at twelve of the award-winning properties, and receive special offers, including complimentary breakfast, resort credits and suite upgrades, when booking at any other Rosewood properties.
Of the twelve Rosewood destinations, the following provide suites with tastefully furnished sitting areas, airy bedrooms, luxurious bathrooms and usually a beautiful terrace or sundeck:
- Rosewood Bermuda
- Rosewood San Miguel de Allende
- Rosewood Villa Magna, in Madrid
- Rosewood Vienna, in Austria
- Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, in Dallas
- Rosewood Le Guanahani, on St Barts
- Rosewood Miramar Beach, in California
- Rosewood Washington, D.C.
- Rosewood Paris, Hôtel de Crillon
- Rosewood Baha Mar, in the Bahamas
At Rosewood Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands members can stay in four-bedroom villas, with sweeping ocean views and a short golf cart ride to resort amenities. And at Rosewood Mayakoba on the Riviera Maya, members will be able to enjoy four-bedroom villas offering open floor plans, plunge pools, lush lagoon views, and private docks — with construction expected to be complete in mid-2024.
Rosewood joins an exemplary collection of hotels in the Club’s portfolio including The Peninsula, Montage, Auberge, Four Seasons, Singita and more. Exclusive Resorts noted that these new additions were some of the most member requested locations from 2022.
2024 Once-in-a-Lifetime Journeys
Each year Exclusive Resorts puts together a variety of bucket list trips and expeditions for members only. The special journeys for next year are:
Explore three distinct prefectures of Japan on an 11-day, high-speed luxury trip on the country’s legendary Bullet Train. Experiences include cooking classes, taiko drumming, a traditional tea ceremony and a soak in traditional onsen hot springs in the foothills of snow-capped Mount Fuji.
A family safari in Tanzania to see the wildlife in the Ngorongoro Crater, watch the migration of millions of wildebeest across the Serengeti and visit to villages around Lake Manyara.
Join Lindblad Expeditions on a chartered Members-only voyage in the Arctic aboard the National Geographic Resolution. Sail to the high Arctic of the Svalbard archipelago, the best place on the planet to view polar bears in their native habitat.
An 11-day cruise deep within Indonesia’s remote Komodo Islands. Members swim alongside whale sharks in Saleh Bay and view the prehistoric Komodo dragons inhabiting the World Heritage-designated Komodo National Park.
A 10-day artisanal adventure behind the scenes of Italy’s top makers and art institutions. Members visit Florence, Rome and explore the spectacular Tuscan countryside behind the wheel of a Ferrari.
A journey through South East Asia with a deep dive into the diverse cultures of French Indochina. Some highlights include participation in the longstanding Laos Buddhist alms giving ceremony and the Khmer ruins of Angkor Wat.
An 8-day cruise along the coast of the Iberian Peninsula from Lisbon to Barcelona.
….. and more
In addition to the set departures above, Exclusive Resorts members can choose from 20+ itineraries, ranging from short weekend getaways to bucket list vacations, that they can take on their own schedule. These range from 12 days in Australia & New Zealand, to an Oregon family road trip, to the Exumas on a 4 stateroom private yacht to summer hiking in the Dolomites to adventure in Argentina & Chile (pictured above).
Raising Fees
For the first time in a few years, Exclusive Resorts will be raising its membership initiation fees at the end of this year, and anticipates the increase to be up to $50,000.
