Miami, Florida is a vacationer's paradise. Beautiful beaches, lively nightlife, world-class restaurants and shopping and a wealth of cultural venues make this a highly sought-after vacation destination.
Known for its world-class skiing and breathtaking vistas, Telluride, Colorado is a favorite vacation destination for winter travelers looking to get away from it all. But Telluride has much more to offer the discerning vacationer, be it winter, spring, summer or fall.
Founded in 1962, Vail is recognized as the finest ski resort in North America. Readers of SKI Magazine have voted it the Number 1 ski resort destination in the United States a record 11 times in 15 years. With 5,289 acres of skiable acreage and 34 lifts, it is also the largest ski resort in the US.
Stretching from the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula twenty miles northeast to San Jose del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos offer world-class resorts with a small town feeling. Stunning beaches and rock formations mix natural beauty with the modern luxury of the resort corridor, golf courses and the perfect nightlife for a beach town -- flip-flops required.

Destination club homes are located in over 25 countries around the world. They tend to be in prime locations in exclusive resorts and at beaches, in mountains and in major cities. Some of the more popular locations include:
Mountain: Aspen, Vail, Telluride, Park City, Jackson Hole, Swiss Alps, French Alps
City: London, New York, Paris, Chicago, Miami, Florence
Beach: Los Cabos, Hawaii, Florida, Turks & Caicos, Bahamas
Leisure: Tuscany, Kiawah, Scottsdale, Napa Valley
The homes are typically large spacious single family residences which are impeccably furnished and provide chefs kitchens and spa like bathrooms.
The average values of the homes varies depending on the club, with a range from under $1m to well over $6m.
The SherpaReport downloadable Guide includes details on the locations of the homes for the leading clubs.
Most clubs offer a variety of membership plans that provide from seven to over seventy nights of use of the club homes each year. Membership works similar to an exclusive country club, in that members pay a one time membership fee which is largely refundable should they leave, and then pay annual dues.
The level of these fees varies depending on the average value of the club homes and the number of nights that a member chooses in their membership plan.
The SherpaReport downloadable Guide includes full details on the membership plans for the leading clubs.
A large part of the appeal of club membership are the full services that they provide, to ensure members can go on vacation and just relax and enjoy time with their friends and family.
The clubs help members plan and organize the whole vacation. The clubs vacation planners will help set up all aspects of the trip prior to departure, and local hosts or concierges are on site to look after members when they arrive. They will:
Many clubs will meet you at the airport as you arrive and some clubs even provide complementary luxury vehicles as part of the membership.
The SherpaReport downloadable Guide is designed to educate you on the clubs and how they work and includes a series of questions for you to ask the clubs to help find the one that is right for you.
Answer the questions on the right and we'll suggest some initial clubs and then download the Guide.

Since 2006, SherpaReport.com has been a comprehensive, independent source for in-depth information about the burgeoning shared luxury market. The constantly updated publication provides valuable information for those seeking advice and guidance, news, analysis, and directories to help them make informed decisions about whether buying a private aircraft or investing in alternatives such as fractional ownership, jet cards & memberships, and/or charters is right for them, their families, and their companies. SherpaReport.com also offers guidance on other luxury travel options such as vacation home alternatives (destination clubs, residence funds & equity clubs, luxury fractionals, and private residence clubs).
Guidance & News
Like a sherpa, SherpaReport’s aim is to guide readers through the complex world of shared luxury options. When seeking to fly private, are charters, jet cards & memberships, fractional ownership, or whole ownership the right option for you? Perhaps a combination of several? And when considering the purchase of a luxury second or third home, are there alternatives to full vacation home ownership that could be more beneficial? This is what SherpaReport aims to elucidate for its readers thanks to decades of experience and expertise.
SherpaReport.com's expert team of editors and market analysts also provide its discerning readers with rich, relevant, and timely information straight from industry sources that they can't get anywhere else, to further help them make smart, educated decisions. On a daily basis, they conduct extensive research, monitor the market and interview the industry's senior executives as well as current, past and potential members, to keep on top of the latest trends and issues. The result? Timely features, informative commentary and revealing insight into these popular forms of luxury travel.
"An informative and useful tool, exactly what I was looking for." Tom, Edmonds, WA
