What a splendid two weeks we have all just had at Quinta das Oliveiras. It is superbly located with tremendous views and is a lovely comfortable villa. We had good weather and the pool was in almost constant use.
We cannot speak highly enough of Carina, who did all our evening meals, and is a truly accomplished cook, coping particularly well as she did, with a variety of dietary requirements and produced some five star meals. One night, her steaks and choc-pots were to die for.
Equal praise is also due to Alexandra who prepared breakfast and cleaned for us in the mornings and seems to have boundless energy and lots of local knowledge. Patrick and Sandra (the local hosts) were very welcoming and it was much appreciated.

Great house, Great location, Great food (Thank you Lenka), Great TV selection (I'm used to Freeview at home, so it's nice to have more than 40 Channels), Great Pool, Great View, Great ensuite, Great Games Room, Great Service!
Yup, I think that sums up my 5/5 score for this place.
It is a really nice villa. I especially loved the pool and the dolphins are really nice. It is extremely convenient being near to the zoo. I also love how there are so many different places to sit because the house is so big. There is aircon and WiFi in every room which is excellent. Thank you so much for this lovely house.

It was a case of 13 go mad in Breck and Annie and Amy, the housekeeping staff, did a fantastic job coping with it.
The house coped with the numbers very well, with all the children using the lower half of the house whilst the adults relaxed upstairs in front of the fire.
The catering was as per our request and cooked brilliantly. The house is the most amazing location, a couple of miles out of Breck - just far enough to keep away from the traffic jams at the beginning and end of the skiing day. The views are fantastic, the skiing amazing. What more could you want? Our friends loved it. So sad, we have to say goodbye to the house. We miss it.

We had the most fantastic holiday at Villa Arawan. We were very lucky with the weather and had lots of sunshine with the occasional downpour as to be expected in the rainy season.
Jeaw and Joy (the local cook and housekeeper) really looked after us, the food was so good that we requested a pad thai cooking lesson from Jeaw and she was more than happy to oblige. I bought some pad thai noodles in Greenwich today – watch this space! Joy the housekeeper kept the house spotless, and her laundering was efficient and much appreciated. We loved her folded towel displays , it is this attention to detail that makes such a difference. I had a 'generation game' towel folding session with Joy much to the amusement of both of us.
Tan (the local concierge) popped in the first couple of days, but as we were not planning many outings we didn't see her the rest of the week but we knew we could get her by phone if we needed to. We were more lazy this time, less sightseeing although we did a tour of the island which incorporated a visit to Wat Chalong and the White Buddha on the hill – it doesn't seem to have progressed that much from the last time but then it is a huge project. We enjoyed the local beachclubs on both Surin and Bang Tao – great for sundowners.

Excellent - absolutely fantastic in every aspect! This was our first Rocksure Property visit. If they are all as exceptional as El Goute, we will be booking as often as we can.
The food preparation and service by the kitchen staff was superior to anything we had at the best restaurants. Fatima was more than willing to give us brief cooking lessons and demonstrations! Fatima and Ilyas were absolutely phenomenal; as was the entire staff! Ilyas hired a driver (Kareem) for us as well as a most-knowledgeable guide.
Our guide (Abdul) assisted us with negotiating our purchases in the Souks - saving us a considerable amount of money. He actually saved us so much on our rugs, it more than paid his salary for 3 full days! Abdul took us to his favourite lunch spots (again, incredible food) and had the owners reduce the bill by 50%. He was a wealth of information when it came to the history of Morocco. The benefit to having a guide is that it keeps the vendors from hassling you. I would highly recommend when travelling to Morocco, that you hire a guide for the first 1-2 days. If staying at El Goute, a driver is a must (and cheap). Kareem was with us all week. El Goute is a 5-star +++ property! There is absolutely nothing they can't organize for you! Fabulous! Can't wait to return!

We had a fantastic time in the Prague apartment. How about a list of great bits about our stay. In no particular order:
- The concierge - Karen who could not have been more helpful . She is a real advert for Rocksure.
- The lift which goes into the apartment - how cool is that for teenage daughters.
- The size of the apartment - big enough for Trooping the Colour.
- The cupboards in the apartment - of absolutely no use but look brilliant.
- The 2 restaurants which Karen recommended, particularly La Finestra [the Italian].
- The position of the apartment which is in easy walking distance of all the activity and history.
- The weather. Whilst the UK was being battered we were walking around Prague without the need for coats.
- The balcony - what a view of the river
- We took a drive in an open top vintage car. Great if the weather is kind.
Both of us had an expectation of grey / black Eastern European drab architecture from the communist era. Well we got that completely wrong. Great city and we will go back. Happy shareholders!

We had a really enjoyable holiday in Portugal. The weather was ideal - which meant slightly cooler than England! - and arrangements at the villa were excellent.
Over the two weeks I never met Patrick, but Sandra and Carina looked after us extremely well. This was our 5th Rocksure holiday. 1 in Croatia, 2 in Marrakech, and 2 in the Algarve, and there is no doubt that the arrangements this time were the best that we had experienced anywhere, and also the personnel could not have been more flexible, helpful or professional. The only person that we have met on earlier holidays of the same standard was Aicha who we met on our first visit to Marrakech.
Carina would say "ask me what you want and I will make it if I can", and she always could and it was always delicious. Ask our grandchildren what they enjoyed about the holiday, and in no particular order it would be the swimming pool, Carina's cooking (and she made several special meals for the children) and Sandra's pancakes. What more could any child want! Also the villa was clean and comfortable, and well appointed.
In summary, the holiday was a great success, and our guests were very impressed with the arrangements, and the service offered, and would all like to be invited back again!
