The Homestead offer a number of forms of ownership. Some are very similar to what you'd find in primary home communities. Others are unique to resort communities. Those which are most similar to primary homes are owned by one family or business entity. Those which are less similar to primary homes are owned by more than one family or business entity. To simplify, The Homestead think of these ownership forms as ""whole ownership"" and ""fractional ownership.""

Whole ownership properties are found in the subdivisions, site condominiums, and condominiums. Fractional ownership properties are found only in the condominiums. Forms of fractional ownership we offer include quarter and eighth shares."
