Within A&K Residence Club the members are owners of the company that owns the clubs residences and Abercrombie & Kent provides management of the overall club. “Our members realize the benefit of joining a destination club managed by a worldwide luxury travel leader which gives them access to inspiring experiences around the world,” says Abercrombie & Kent Founder and Executive Chairman Geoffrey Kent.
At the end of last year Ritz-Carlton and A&K Residence Club announced a partnership with which provides reciprocal access to their respective members. For A&K members this gives them access to the ten Ritz-Carlton Club destinations in places such as Aspen, the Bahamas, St Thomas and Maui.
A&K members can also exchange some of their membership nights for travel on parent Abercrombie & Kents tours or for stays at several European villas in France and Italy. In 2010, 15% of the membership traded nights for A&K travel to a wide range of destinations, including safaris in East and Southern Africa, Israel & Egypt, Indochina, Argentina, Peru, Australia, Turkey, Canada and countries throughout Europe.
