Luxury destination club Exclusive Resorts recently announced updates to its 5-year membership plan.
Under the new plan, members pay a one-time initiation fee of $85,000. They can then choose to travel between 15 and 30 days per year (compared to 20 per year under the previous plan) at a cost of $1,250 per day. Those who choose a minimum of 25 days per year will also gain early reservation access.
Also available is a 30-year membership option, with the same rate per day and the same choice of 15 to 30 days, but with an initiation fee of $250,000. This long-term option is popular among those seeking to pass along their membership to children as an inheritance.
With an Exclusive Resorts membership comes access to a portfolio of more than 400 luxury residences and experiences in more than 120 destinations. Members also gain access to a wide range of VIP benefits such as Gold Medallion status with Delta’s SkyMiles and discounts on Delta private jets, priority entry to restaurants and shows, access to VIP personal shoppers, and luggage delivery services.
In the 15 years since it was founded, Exclusive Resorts has grown into a leader in the world of destination clubs. The company has now delivered “more than 200,000 vacations for 4,000+ members and their families”.
“Our goal has always been to provide families with the opportunity to meaningfully connect with one another over shared experiences,” says Cathy Ross, CEO of Exclusive Resorts. “Our vacation portfolio—which now includes more than 400 luxury residences and experiences ranging from Once-in-a-Lifetime Journeys to short weekend Escapes—does just that. We do all the work, so you can focus on what matters most—time together.”
The vacation portfolio mentioned by Ross features luxury homes throughout America, as well as in the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and Africa. With the wide variety of destinations, members can spend a relaxing weekend at Lake Tahoe, fly to St. Andrews in Scotland for a few days of golf, and then wander the markets of Marrakech or the temples of Kyoto. Members can also take trips that are part of the Experience Collection, carefully planned vacations to some of the world’s most sought-after locations. Trips include major world sporting events, safaris, cruises, and cultural tours.
