A fabulous house and views. The sunsets rock - be sure to cook in one night at least to enjoy the pool and decks - the stars are amazing too.
If you do go out:
- Lazy Wave - small menu, but good food, really great atmosphere
- Dragonfly - really good food, open air, casual.
- Le Jardin - look for the sign on main street then follow winding path (don't give up). Amazing food. If a big party ask for the VIP area.
We found the beach restaurants maybe good for a cocktail at sunset but after that you don't realize you are on the beach and they all had poor service, so so food and inflated prices.
Definitely go to any excursion recommended by Daniel (the local host/concierge). He is a fantastic asset at this home. The river trip yielded up close and personal monkeys and crocodiles.
Even though we were not sure at first, the mud baths and thermal pools were really relaxing. The most fun was the water slide.
The best place for seashells is to the south down the beach. You can cross the river at low tide and go for ever.
Boogie boarding is best at the Tamarindo beach.
Can't wait to go back!
