Quintess launched the Beyond program earlier this year, with two African Safaris designed exclusively for members of the destination club, and has already expanded it for this year. The new program for 2012 includes eight experiences in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. Some of the trips are planned for just one or two dates whereas others are available on a number of occasions. The program includes:
Sail the Mediterranean Sea
Depart in August 2012 aboard the Silver Spirit for a 10 day cruise from Venice to Istanbul. This small ultra-luxury cruise ship has one of the highest space-to guest ratios. Quintess members stay in suites with their own living room, dining area and teak veranda.
Explore the Galapagos Islands
The 138-foot-long luxurious ship Grand Odyssey (pictured above) carries just 16 passengers with 13 crew members. Quintess Beyond has two 10 day cruises scheduled for 2012, each of which will have a naturalist guide onboard, to help explore this unique habitat.
Discover Asia's Timeless History
This 15 day tour of South east Asia makes stops in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. Members experience everything from narrow urban streets to expansive bucolic scenes at world famous UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Follow Tanzania's Great Migration
Visit the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater during this 11 day Safari in Tanzania. Quintess is offering several travel dates during 2012 for this trip.
Admire Botswana and Victoria Falls
Activities includes twice-daily game drives in an open 4×4 safari vehicle, bush walks, boating and dugout canoe excursions in the Okavango Delta. This 11 day tour ends with 2 nights close to the breathtaking Victoria Falls.
Revel in South Africa's Culture and Game
Visit two private game reserves and in between explore Cape Town and Table Mountain. The 11 day tour includes walking safaris, horseback safaris and spotlit night drives.
View Kenya's Extraordinary Wildlife
See giraffe, elephants, rhinos, zebra and many other East African species on this 11 day safari. The romantic and totally private Bateleur Camp in the Masai Mara reflects the ambience of Kenyan safaris of the 20s and 30s.
Stretch Out on St. Martin
This 6 day St Martin yoga retreat is being held in May 2012 and will take the same format as this years first Quintess Beyond yoga retreat in Los Cabos.
As with the somewhat similar programs at Exclusive Resorts and Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club, members use their membership plan nights for the trips and often have an additional per diem charge.
