This new partnership will allow members of Ultimate Escapes to vacation at Waldorf Astoria Orlando as part of their destination club membership.
The Waldorf Astoria Orlando is located in Bonnet Creek and is surrounded on three sides by Walt Disney World, and yet secluded by a private nature preserve. It is the brand's first hotel to be built from the ground up since the flagship property opened in New York City in 1893.
The hotel amenities include access to the 24,000 sq.ft. Waldorf Astoria Spa by Guerlain and a 4,000 sq.ft. fitness center featuring 23 luxuriously appointed indoor treatment suites and six outdoor treatment areas, aerobics, Pilates, yoga and spinning. The premium recreation area has four pools including signature cabanas, two zero-entry pools, a sprawling free-form lagoon style pool and waterslide. Also available is WA Kids children's program complete with creative activities to keep kids entertained, as well as a complementary shuttle to the adjacent Walt Disney World Resort.
"Waldorf Astoria is an iconic brand that sets the highest standards in luxury accommodations and Ultimate Escapes is thrilled to offer our members the ability to vacation with their family and friends at this extraordinary resort in the heart of Disney," said Jim Tousignant, president and CEO of Ultimate Escapes. "We are continually working to find new ways to provide members with the most memorable and enjoyable vacation experiences."
The hotel will be part of the Ultimate Collection, a selection of over 130 luxury hotels around the world. Ultimate Escapes members can use up to 7 nights per year to stay in suites at the Waldorf Astoria or other hotels in the collection.
Ultimate Escapes already has a large 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home in Orlando. Robin Spindell of Ultimate Escapes told SherpaReport "We are booked solid in our Orlando home so this should help members have much more access to this popular destination."
