Description
This destination club was somewhat of a global spinout from the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Montana. With the divorce of its founders, Tim and Edra Blixseth, and the accompanying Chapter 11 bankruptcy of Yellowstone Club, the destination club never really got going. Membership in the exclusive Yellowstone Club World was to be by invitation only and the club planned to only have a total of 150 members.
Members of Yellowstone Club received a 50% discount on membership in Yellowstone Club World.
The club owned some of the most impressive properties in the world. It's property in the Turks & Caicos was a 30,000 sqft, 10 bedroom, $40m estate located on it's own private island. Its 700 year old chateau in France, was set in 1,100 acres of countryside and yet was just 45 minutes from Paris. In St Andrews, Scotland the club was building it's own Tom Weiskopf designed private golf course with it's own stone lodge. The club also intended to have some properties that were only known to members in order to preserve their privacy and exclusivity. In addition the club had two large motor yachts and a fleet of Gulfstream jets.
The club was headquartered in Big Sky, Montana.
