The Calgary based equity destination club has three new homes available to members. One is a mountain home in Whistler, one is close to the beach in Costa Rica and the other is in the heart of Venice, Italy.
Whistler
The ski-in, ski-out home is located on Blackcomb Mountain in the Benchlands neighborhood. With access to over 8,100 acres of skiable terrain. In the summer, it’s a short walk to the Valley Trail system, the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Course & Whistler Village where there are countless shopping, dining and recreation options.
The 3-bedroom home (pictured below) has an open-plan concept, with an expansive great room.
“On average our members have been making 6 trips a year with Destination M, over the last few years” said John Beckel, the clubs General Manager, “and we’re really helping our members enjoy quality time with their friends and families.”
Costa Rica
This spacious 3-bedroom and 3-bathroom home overlooks Peninsula Papagayo’s Arnold Palmer Signature Course. The home is part of an enclave with its own private pool and just a short walk down to the natural reserve Playa Nacascolo. Peninsula Papagayo is a luxurious, eco development where 70 percent of the natural environment must remain untouched to prevent overdevelopment. The peninsula has 17km of coastline, 12km of bluff edges, and 21 gorgeous and un-crowded beaches.
Nearby are two national parks, including the 34,800-acre Rincon De La Vieja National Park, with pristine tropical forests and geological formations and volcanic hot springs. Other activities in the area include deep sea diving, sport fishing, horseback riding, kayaking to mountain biking.
Venice, Italy
The home in Venice is currently undergoing renovation and is available for booking for travel from April 2017 onwards.
This residence offers 3 bedrooms, two of which are ensuite. There is a spacious and comfortable drawing room and a kitchen/dining area with seating for up to 8. Located in the Dorsoduro district, it is just across the Grand Canal from Piazza San Marco, and in an area with galleries, local cafes, restaurants, bars and lovely canals.
“We also have a couple of other reciprocal partnership agreements in the works, which we’ll be announcing very shortly” said John Beckel. “The new homes are already proving to be favorites amongst our members” he added.
Like other clubs, Destination M takes care of all insurance, repairs, maintenance, property management and other services for all its properties, making it truly hassle free for members. In addition there is tailored trip planning and on-site concierge services through the club concierges and Mbassadors.
