Background
Flexjet was founded in 1995 as a division of aircraft manufacturer Bombardier. Since 2013, Flexjet has been a member of the Directional Aviation family of companies. In 2022 Flexjet and its sister companies announced plans to become a public company under the Flexjet name.
Today, Flexjet offers a full suite of premium aviation solutions personally tailored to fit a variety of private travel needs. The overall company has about 3,100 employees, including 1,100 pilots and 450 licensed maintenance technicians across nine office locations in the United States, United Kingdom, and Italy and serves a customer base of approximately 10,000. It is the second largest fractional aircraft operator in North America.
Flexjet Fleet
Flexjet manages one of the youngest collections of business aircraft in the world. The 250+ aircraft in the fleet range from light jets, such as the Phenom 300, to ultra-long range jets, such as the Gulfstream G700, and also helicopters. It is the only company that has received the FAA's highest honor for maintenance training, the Diamond Award of Excellence, for over 20 consecutive years.
The company's Primary Service Area provides access anywhere within the continental United States and the surrounding area of up to 200 nautical miles, as well as the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos Islands. The Secondary Service Area covers most of North America and the Caribbean. Flexjet also arranges international flights in most of the world.
As a Flexjet fractional owner you have a guarantee of access to more than one aircraft, when you, family or colleagues must be in more than one place on the same day. The card options from the Flexjet 25 Jet Card program are available on a limited number of aircraft in the fleet.
