European based equity destination club, The Hideaways Club, has been expanding over the past year, and most recently just added new homes on the island of Ibiza and on the Algarve in Portugal.

Located in the exclusive area of Es Cubells in the South West of the island, Villa la Solana is the highest property on the hill allowing it uninterrupted views and complete privacy.

The villa is impressive in its architecture with the fourth bedroom being accommodated in the feature tower with its own roof terrace. All of the bedrooms are positioned to take full advantage of the magnificent views over the countryside and sea below.

The external area is ideal for the “outdoor living” for which Ibiza is famous; the perfect place to relax and unwind whilst enjoying the Mediterranean sun.

It is a three minute drive to the nearest town and amenities and only ten minutes to the glorious beaches of the island.

Ibiza is one of the Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean Sea, to the east of the Spanish Peninsula. With over 200 kilometres of spectacular coastline, Ibiza is a popular resort for water sport enthusiasts with amateur and professional diving, yacht clubs, snorkelling, windsurfing, kitesurfing, water skiing and many other activities.

The island has a rich archaeological, historical and artistic heritage just waiting to be explored. Or leave the tourist trail behind and discover the hidden Ibiza of provincial towns, restored farmhouses, unspoilt sandy beaches and remote rocky coves.

Villa Palmeria is situated on the exclusive Dunas Douradas resort on the glorious Algarve coastline. The villa is a 5 minute stroll from the beach and the surrounding resort provides a vast array of exciting activities for the whole family to enjoy.

The villa has five spacious bedrooms and five bathrooms, an open plan living area, private pool and outdoor terrace with barbecue.

The resort of Dunas Douradas is between Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo and is set in over seventy acres of African pine and orange groves which slope gently down to the ocean. On the beach there are a variety of beach bars and restaurants which provide live entertainment in the evenings.

Villa Palmeira is a spacious property with an open plan living area and outdoor terrace with barbecue. The private garden contains a heated pool and overlooks a picturesque landscaped common area and water feature. The resort has 24 hour security so provides the perfect environment for a relaxing family break in this beautiful area of the Algarve.

The beaches, resorts and delicious climate of the Algarve are famous all over the world, but the history and culture of the region are not quite so well-known. Ruled in turn by Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans and Visigoths before the Moors invaded in the 8th century, the name Algarve comes from the Arabic for 'the West', and the Moorish influence on the architecture, atmosphere - and food - of the area is still strong.

The landscape of the Algarve has always been a marriage of mountains and ocean, and the same characteristics come together in the local cuisine. Fish combines with game in dishes like cata plana, and there are Moorish echoes in specialties like xarém, made with maize and shellfish. Other fish delicacies include caldeirada stew, and locally-caught sardines, cod and conger eel. Crisp white vinho verde is perfect drinking for hot summer afternoons, and if the port isn't enough to tempt you there's always the more adventurous local aguardente.

Earlier this year the Hideaways Club entered into partnerships with Equity Estates and with Banyan Tree Private Collection to allow members to use homes in each of these other clubs. Including these two partnerships, the Hideaways members now have access to about 50 homes around the world.
