I spent a week in Hilton Head in July with my extended family and am just now getting around to writing a review.
We had a fabulous time. The photos of the house really do not do it justice. Stepping into the foyer and seeing out the back to the beach took our breathe away. There were 8 of us. The house could accommodate 10 quite comfortably. I slept in the upstairs Masters and woke every morning, made coffee in the upstairs kitchen, sat on the deck off my bedroom and watched the sun rise. Really beautiful.

The local host, Gena, took great care of us. She arranged to have bikes delivered, made reservations, and helped ship my son's kite boarding equipment to and from the house. Gena knows alot of the restaurant owners, so she was able to pull a few strings to get us reservations in places that normally do not take them. She was also able to get us tee times at Sea Pines at the last minute. Very useful.

We cooked at the home several nights and everything you need to cook a gourmet meal was available. There was a Ducane grill outsde, and 2 Wolfe stoves as well as plenty of burners and a grill top. Right off the kitchen/ Dining area, there was a wet-bar area with an ice machine. Each EE house has a battery powered wine opener (which for the life of me, I can't figure out how to use) and a wine chiller. Each room had a plasma TV and the whole house was equipped with an audio system that allowed you to listen to various music in the bedrooms as well as by the pool. The upstairs Media room was equipped with a Wii and latest Tiger Woods golf game. My son got alot of golf time in on that.

My son is a kite-boarder and every afternoon at about 4:00, the wind picked up and he was out there kiteboarding. We could all watch him out there from the family room. When he was done, he was able to leave his equipment in tact by the pool. An added convenience as assembling the kite and disassembling can be quite an ordeal.

Having the bikes was great as you can ride on the beach, the various bike paths and down to the Coligny Plaza where there are several shops and a Piggly Wiggly.

I absolutely loved the house, the location and the island of Hilton head itself. We are already talking about a return trip next year.
