The Markers has just announced an investment in Private Club Network that gives Markers members access to the 192 private golf and country clubs in the Network. In addition members of the Private Club Network can try out The Markers Club with a specially priced preview "experience".
For just a $25 cart fee Markers members can now request a tee time at any of the clubs in the Network. This includes golf clubs in 38 states with 16 clubs in California, 10 in Colorado, 15 in Michigan, 6 in Connecticut, 6 in Florida and others across the nation. Like other members of the Network, each request is subject to space availability at the host golf club.
"By providing our members access to private clubs in 38 states, The Markers once again emphasizes its commitment to the golf experience." said Ron Wade, president and co-founder of The Markers.
The special offer to current members of Private Club Network includes three-nights, four days (Sunday-Wednesday), concierge services, and 4 rounds of golf at the home course for each location. The price to try this experience is $2,400.
Almost all the other destination clubs offer members access to golf courses and some even have homes right on golf courses, but, The Markers is the only one of the clubs set up for the golf purist. In addition to the $2m homes on some of the most renowned golf courses, members enjoy free golf privileges at each destinations home course, can golf with PGA professionals in private settings, have access to PGA events, use the four sets of demo clubs in each residence, take part in the annual club championship, and can go on member only golf tours and excursions.
The investment by The Markers looks like a sound move. It provides another great golfing benefit to Markers members. At the same time it introduces the destination club to the tens of thousands of members of the private golf clubs in the Private Club Network. Many of these are just the sort of folks who are potential members of The Markers.
We recently also recently wrote about a private residence club that is specifically aimed at golfers. You can read about the Private Quarters Club here.Image: The Markers Lake Las Vegas Residence
