The Markers, a destination club which also combines the benefits of private golf club membership, has announced the addition of a new luxury affiliate destination to the clubs portfolio: the exclusive Archerfield Links in Scotland.
Members of The Markers can enjoy golf at Archerfield Links two championship golf courses, Fidra and Dirleton along with access to golf at nearby North Berwick or Gullane. Additionally, the Archerfield staff can assist with bookings at Carnoustie or Kingsbarns in St. Andrews. The agreement will also afford Archerfield members the opportunity to request a luxury Markers experience at any of the Clubs portfolio destinations.
Archerfield is about 15 miles east of Edinburgh, on the East Lothian coast, and claims that golf has been played on its grounds for over five centuries. Scotlands Archerfield Links is the pinnacle the ultimate golf experience, said Mitch Brinton, co founder and managing director of The Markers. We are proud to offer this prestigious location that takes golf to an entirely new level of experience for our members.
Members of The Markers now enjoy no-fee access to the home course of each destination in the Clubs portfolio while in residence. Spouses also play free while friends and family will pay only guest fees. Home courses for each destination include Pronghorn in Bend, Oregon, Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club in St. George, Utah; Troon North in Scottsdale, Arizona; Reflection Bay in Lake Las Vegas, Nevada; Cabo Del Sol in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Cougar Point Golf Club in Kiawah Island, South Carolina; Melrose Course in Daufuskie Island, South Carolina; and National Golf Club in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Another benefit recently added to membership provides access to a network of more than 200 private golf clubs in 40 states. Markers members have full playing privileges at cart fee rates at each private club in the network.
We recently wrote about a luxury fractional at St Andrews and both Yellowstone Club World and Quintess have golfing homes in Scotland.
