Description
Ultimate Escapes was the largest destination club measured by number of locations. There were three levels of clubs, of which this Ultimate Escapes Premiere level had $1m homes. The club homes average 2,000 square feet in size and typically had 2-4 bedrooms in most locations.
The other two clubs were Ultimate Escapes Elite with $3m homes and Ultimate Escapes Signature with $2m homes. Members in any of the three clubs had a level of reciprocity to use homes in the other sister clubs. The clubs also had partnerships with an additional 130 properties in 100 locations worldwide.
Each club offered five family membership plans, providing from 14 to 60 nights of travel per year, and also offered a corporate membership plan.
The club was formed in 2008 through the merger of Ultimate Resort and Private Escapes and was publicly traded under the symbol ULEI on the OTC bulletin board. The club filed for bankruptcy in September 2010.
