The luxury destination club has just announced that it will have 30 homes in the Vdara tower in MGM Mirages new CityCenter project on The Strip in Las Vegas.
CityCenter is a $7.4bn collaboration between MGM Mirage and 8 of the worlds top architects. It is located on 76 acres between the Bellagio and Monte Carlo resorts and has a ¼ mile of frontage on Las Vegas The Strip.
The famed architect Rafael Vinoly is designing the 57 story Vdara. Exclusive Resorts two-bedroom, ultra-luxury private residences will be located on floors 42-48 and are being custom-designed to uniquely suit the destination club. The Vdara will offer a luxurious spa, in-residence gourmet dining, lush pool environment, and convenient access to CityCenter's upscale retail stores, nightclubs, gaming, a new Cirque du Soleil production and an extensive contemporary arts program. In addition ER members will have privileged access to the exclusive Shadow Creek Golf Course.
The Vdara residences aren't expected to be opened until 2009, so beginning in September 2007, the club will make 15 two- bedroom, luxury residences available, to its approximately 3,0000 members, on an interim basis at The Signature at MGM Grand. This all-suite luxury hotel provides a private retreat for guests amidst all the action of The Strip, with in-suite gourmet dining, balconies with panoramic views and 24-hour concierge service among many other amenities.
Several of the other destination clubs already have homes in Las Vegas. The Markers Club and Private Escapes have homes at Lake Las Vegas and M Private Residences has a 2 bedroom condo right on The Strip. Ultimate Resort has announced that it plans to buy a home in Las Vegas.
