The equity destination club has owned a property at The Crane Resort in Barbados for many years. It recently worked with The Crane to provide additional high season time for its members.

The club found that its members wanted to travel to Barbados mainly during the winter. This meant that the clubs residence was pretty empty during the May to September summer season.

The new points program allows M Private to exchange unused weeks from the May to September low season, for points which can be used later towards time in any of the units at The Crane. This provides members with up to 20 weeks that would, for instance, allow for double- and triple- booking during peak travel months.

"We really wanted to see how we could better utilize our investment in The Crane and, first and foremost, we wanted to provide our members with more flexibility when booking their vacations." said John Beckel, General Manager of M Private Residences.

The Crane Resort is set on Crane Beach in St. Philips, Barbados and boasts 4 cascading freshwater pools, al fresco hot tub flanked by individual pool cabanas and spectacular ocean views. M members enjoy fine dining at one of the splendid seaside restaurants with a Michelin starred chef or the less formal patio overlooking a ½ mile of pink sand beach. The Crane Village completes this experience with a full service spa and fitness facility, open air piano bar and shopping only a few steps away from the front door.
